BOSS MARTIANS return! These Pacific Northwest garage punkers are back with their first album in over five years,
and all 13 tracks on Pressure In The SODO are lessons in how to play rough yet ready unadulterated rock 'n' roll.
Taking the album over the top is the Godfather of Garage Punk and the Rock Iguana himself: Iggy Pop! Iggy got down
and wrote the Detroit-style hard rocker "Mars Is For Martians" especially for The Boss Martians, and he also makes a
guest appearance on the track!!! Mars Is For Martians features a titanic vocal duet between Pop and Evan Foster,
and guitars so explosive they sound like a street fight between Ted Nugent and Wayne Kramer. Other highlights from
Pressure In The SODO include the prog punk-infused Don't Wanna See You Again (with the Jon Lord-like work of Martians'
keys man NickC), the Cheap Trick-inspired power ballad And She's Gone, and the epic rock album-closer Elsie
(with its Thin Lizzy-meets-The Who guitar heroics)!
The Boss Martians, whose previous album was called "a power-pop masterpiece" by Punk Planet magazine, have once again
delivered another truly powerful album, and Pressure In The SODO will only solidify the Martians' already stellar
reputation as one of the best rock bands in America!
